The problem
Comparison shopping is the kind of task people know they should do and mostly do not, because doing it properly across a full shopping list is tedious beyond the point of being worth it. The tools that exist are largely affiliate-driven, which means the ranking you see reflects commission rates rather than price. Promo codes are worse: most code aggregators are padded with expired and fabricated entries, so "find a coupon" usually means trying eight dead codes at checkout.
Our approach
SimplyShop.ai treats price and promo verification as a research task rather than a lookup. Rather than reading from a static feed, the agent checks prices at the source and validates that a promo code is live before presenting it. The design goal is that a result you are shown is a result that holds at checkout — which is a materially harder engineering problem than surfacing a plausible number, and the reason the product is taking the time it is.
