Healthcare supply chain platform

MediVentory

Medical inventory, procurement, and supply chain for hospitals.

MediVentory is a procurement and supply chain platform for hospital medical inventory, built and operated by eRP Systems. It is deployed inside hospital networks rather than offered as a hosted service, meeting the data-residency and security requirements clinical environments impose.

The problem

Hospital supply chains fail in expensive and occasionally dangerous ways. Stock counts drift from reality between audits, expired items sit in supply rooms, and procurement runs through a mix of vendor portals, spreadsheets, and institutional memory. The people best placed to keep inventory accurate — clinical staff — have no spare attention for a system that demands it. Meanwhile the security and compliance posture of a hospital network rules out most commercial SaaS options before a demo is even scheduled.

Our approach

We built MediVentory to be usable in the thirty seconds a clinician can spare, and deployable inside a hospital's own network. Inventory movements are captured by scanning at the point of use rather than through a separate data-entry step, because any workflow that competes with patient care loses. Procurement, stock levels, and consumption history run through one model, so reordering reflects what is actually being used instead of what someone estimated last quarter. The entire platform installs within the customer security boundary, with authentication handled by the hospital's existing identity provider.

What it does

  • Point-of-use capture

Stock movements are recorded by scanning where consumption happens, rather than through a separate reconciliation step that competes with clinical work.

  • Lot and expiry tracking

Items are tracked by lot and expiry date, surfacing product nearing expiry before it becomes write-off.

  • Procurement on real consumption

Purchasing decisions draw on actual usage history held in the same system as stock levels, instead of forecasts maintained separately.

  • Inside the hospital network

Deployed within customer infrastructure and integrated with existing identity providers. Clinical and operational data never leaves the hospital security boundary.
